Tripias Absolution (Needs players)

Tripias Absolution.

Every world has its beginnings, that spark of life that ignites the world we know today. Every story has it's tales about what comes first, every race their own saga spun from ancient scholars around the world. Most of them starts with Gods. But what if the gods were not that spark, what if they were the flame that had been burning for longer than anything else ever had or will. That is the ultimate truth. Something dark and sinister grew before the dawn of gods, something that had been completely uninterested in the world we know... That's until something awoke it from its slumber. Something had been stolen from the creature of darkness beyond the veil, the very thing that keeps it alive and fed. And now it wants it back. It's sending its tendrils trough the veil, into this world, feeding on the weave of magic, searching.. For what was lost.

  • All characters must be approved by me, send it to me by PM and do not share you stats with the other players!
  • All characters must be adults (adults in this world is 16+)
  • All characters must be human
  • I will allow a maximum of 1 spellcaster in the group! Sorry
  • Magic, is volatile and when you cast it, it can have unpredictable effects. It is very dangerous.
  • Characters can die in this so be careful about what you do!


  • Give others a chance to act!



Alright time to tell a little about the world. You all come from a country called Tripia, a land that has been ravaged by war for hundreds of years. You just recently in the last 20 years, entered a period of fragile peace, diplomats are send far and wide to try and mend the bonds that were broken in the Age of Blood. Other races, such as elves, orcs, gnomes, haflings ect Are considered a myth in the same way as it would be today. Some crazy people might believe in them, but the majority does not. Magic, is another thing that is largely unheard of. It's a predominately male society, in that women are usually the house-wives, while the men are the blacksmiths and fighters. There are of course exception, but expect some difficulty getting respected as a female fighter!

Noteworthy places in Tripia:
Capital: Wildport. A big city indeed, but not the biggest in the Kingdom. In the war, it suffered more than any other city. It is surrounded by a big wall but just outside the wall is the beggars next. Huts and shabby looking houses are scattered outside the walls, smelling of foul body fluids and rotten food. It's where the beggars reside as they are not allowed into the city. Inside the city it's divided into the commoners area, the nobles area, the castle and a market area.


Biggest City: Maplefort. This will be the starting place of the roleplay, you don't have to have been there for long, just find a reason in your Background for you to be there now. This is a Tradetown. All trade routes in the Country goes trough here, and many different cultures and styles are affecting this city making is seem very chaotic at first, but also beautiful. It is maintained well and you can find all sorts of people here.

Holy city: Angelshire. Angelshire is a beautiful city with houses made of white marble, and Blue tiled rooftops. It is where the priests  reside and although they do not posses the healing magics as depicted in old history books, they still hold respect, as the masses still believe the superstitions, and want someone of higher powers to look over them. Paladins can be found wandering the streets, dressed in heavy armor and keeping the peace.

Nycal:
God of Death, murder, intrigues, deception, and disease.
Rathal: God of War, Victory, Power, Justice.
Eldar: God of Harvest, Entertainment, Health, and Prosperity.
Neldor: God of trades, Wealth, The seas, Natural disasters.
Enania: Goddess of Beauty, Motherhood, Fertility, Rain.
Amara: Goddess of Magic and knowledge.

Appearance: (Picture is Alright with me, but just be able to explain how he/she looks as well)





Class: (For exmaple: Rogue, Ranger, Mage, Fighter, Priest ect ec)

Gear: (write down what your character owns.)


Feats: (This is Offense, defense or utility related skills. It could be ”Shoot on the run” ”Rapid shooting” ”Unarmed combat” or ”Blindfight” or things like this. You get 5 you can chose to begin with, I'll give you more as you go along. Feel free to be inspired by D&D or make up your own!)


Weapon proficiencies: (what weapons you know how to use)


Skills: (Alright here's where it gets a bit more complicated. There's 10 skill you can chose from. You start out with 10 points. There's 4 tiers to each skill: Beginner > Practised > Expert > Master. To be beginner in a skill it cost 1 point. To be expert it cost 3. You don't have to chose all skills, just the ones you want and put the Tier next to the skill.)

Perception (How good you are at noticing things around you and using your senses)

Speak (How diplomatic you are, how good you are at reckognizing lies, and how scary you can be)

Athletics (Want to make amazing feats of Acrobatics? This is the skill for you, everything from balancing on a rope, to jumping high up in the air and landing gracefully)

Sneak (Being able to be unheard and unseen)

Survival (Surviving in the wilderness? Knowing your way in hard places? Making a fire, a shelter or tracking? This is the skill for you.)



Animal handling (Want to be able to read what an animal is feeling, and how to handle it? Maybe tame wild animals, give them commands or Ride? Put points here)

Knowledge ( With this you can chose 3 knowledges. It can be everything from Politics, Geography and engineering, to Nature, Religion and History. Only magic users, or people with a very good reason can choose Magic/Arcane knowledge)

Craft ( You can choose 2 crafts when you pick this skill. Want to be able to craft armours? Weapons? Instruments? Clothes? Whatever is crafty is here.)

First Aid (Well this is pretty self explanatory)

Rogue skills (Opening locks without a key, Forging documents, disguising yourself. Yep that's here.)


Background:
(What happened up until we start? Who's your parents (If you have any) who's your friends? Were you a wild child, a shy child. Did you have a teenage crush! Anything you want me to know about your character!)
